Signing up and logging in
I signed up but didn't get the confirmation email
Check Spam and Promotions, and search for "DeployU". If it is not there after 10 minutes, go to deployu.ai/login and sign in with Google or GitHub using the same address: that confirms the account instantly. Still stuck? Reply with the email you used and we will check it.
Signup says my email address is not allowed
Temporary or disposable email services are blocked so certificates stay tied to a real person. Use a Gmail, Outlook or college address.
I forgot my password
Open the login page, click "Forgot password", and enter your email. The reset link arrives within a few minutes (check Spam). If you signed up with Google or GitHub there is no password: just use that button.
I created my account with email, can I log in with Google?
Yes, if the Google account uses the same email address. It is the same DeployU account either way.
I did not receive the WhatsApp login code
Make sure the number has WhatsApp installed and you typed it with the country code. Wait 60 seconds and press "Resend". If it still does not arrive, log in with your email and password or Google instead and tell us the number (last 4 digits only) so we can check.
The security check (captcha) keeps failing on login
Refresh the page once. If it keeps failing, turn off VPN and ad-blocking extensions for deployu.ai, or try Chrome or Edge in a normal (not incognito) window.
Plans, checkout, invoices, refunds
I signed up but every course says I need a plan
Creating an account is free, but running labs needs a yearly plan (from $240 a year). There is no free tier or free trial: every lab opens a real cloud environment that costs us money. Pick a plan at deployu.ai/plans; access is immediate after payment. If you are a student at a partner college, use your college login page instead and you do not pay.
What does DeployU cost?
Plans are yearly: Starter $240, Professional $360, Advanced $480. Prices are in USD; local taxes may apply. Pay by card. Full details at deployu.ai/pricing.
Is there a free trial or a free course?
No. Every lab runs on real cloud infrastructure, so there is no free tier. What you get instead is a 7-day refund window: 7 days, if you have run at most 2 lab sessions and finished no more than 20% of any course. Partner-college students get access through their college at no cost.
I paid but courses are still locked
Payment confirmation usually reaches us within a minute. Wait 2 minutes, then reload deployu.ai/dashboard. If it is still locked after 10 minutes, send us the payment ID or the email receipt and we will activate it manually.
My payment failed or is pending
If money was deducted but the payment shows failed, the bank reverses it within 5-7 working days and no plan is created. You can retry at deployu.ai/plans. If the status is "pending", wait 30 minutes before retrying so you are not charged twice.
My coupon code is not working
Coupons are case-sensitive and most expire 30 days after they were issued. Enter it on deployu.ai/plans before you click Pay. If it still fails, send us the code and we will check it.
How do I get my invoice?
Go to deployu.ai/purchases and click Download next to the payment. The invoice includes GST for Indian payments.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are available for 7 days, if you have run at most 2 lab sessions and finished no more than 20% of any course. Email support@deployu.ai from the address on the account with your payment ID. Refunds are processed manually within 5 working days. Cancelling a subscription stops renewal but is not a refund.
Which plan should I choose?
Starter covers the foundation labs (Linux, Docker, Git, databases, web). Professional adds Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, AWS projects and placement prep, and is what most job seekers pick. Advanced adds expert labs and priority support. Compare at deployu.ai/pricing.
Starting labs, the IDE, Verify
My lab is stuck on "Loading VS Code" or "Provisioning"
A fresh environment can take up to 4 minutes. If nothing happens after 4 minutes, reload the page once: your session is kept. If it is still stuck, click End Lab, wait 30 seconds, and press Start Lab again. Tell us the course name and lab number if it fails twice.
It says a lab session is already running
Only one lab environment runs at a time. Open the running lab from your dashboard and click End Lab, or wait for it to time out, then start the new one.
I completed the step but Verify fails
Read the message under the Verify button: it names what was expected. Common causes: a file saved in the wrong folder, a command run in a different terminal, or a service not left running. If you are sure it is correct, send us the course, lab and step number with a screenshot.
Does it work on a college lab PC or a phone?
Everything runs in the browser: no installs or admin rights. Use Chrome or Edge on a laptop or lab PC. Phones can read lessons but are too small for the IDE.
Certificates and everything else
How do I get my certificate?
Finish every lab in the course and the certificate appears under Certificates in your profile menu, with a public verification link.

Sure. Tell me in one line what is wrong plus your email or roll number, and a DeployU team member will reply here. Hours: 9:00-21:00 IST, Monday to Saturday; outside those hours we reply the next morning.
