Affiliate Program Terms

DeployU ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Lightbooks Technologies Private Limited, welcomes you to our Affiliate Program. By participating in our Affiliate Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Affiliate Program Terms ("Affiliate Terms"), our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy.

1. Program Overview

The DeployU Affiliate Program allows participants ("Affiliates") to earn commissions by referring new subscribers to DeployU's cloud learning platform. When someone uses your unique referral link to purchase a subscription, you earn a commission on qualifying purchases.

2. Eligibility

To participate in the Affiliate Program, you must:

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a valid DeployU account in good standing
Not be a DeployU employee, contractor, or immediate family member of an employee
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
Agree to these Affiliate Terms

DeployU reserves the right to accept or reject any affiliate application at our sole discretion.

3. How the Program Works

3.1 Unique Referral Link: Upon acceptance into the program, you will receive a unique referral link that tracks all referrals you generate.

3.2 Referral Tracking: When a new user clicks your referral link and creates an account, they are tracked as your referral for a period of 30 days (the "Cookie Duration"). If they purchase a subscription within this period, you earn a commission.

3.3 Qualifying Purchases: Commissions are earned only on first-time subscription purchases by new DeployU users. Renewals, upgrades, or purchases by existing users are not eligible for affiliate commissions.

4. Commission Structure

The current commission structure is as follows:

Monthly Subscriptions: 20% commission on the first month's payment
Annual Subscriptions: 20% commission on the first year's payment

Commission rates are subject to change at DeployU's discretion. We will notify active affiliates of any changes via email at least 30 days in advance.

5. Referred User Benefits

New users who sign up through a valid affiliate referral link may receive promotional benefits, such as:

Extended free trial periods
Discount on first subscription purchase
Bonus course access

Specific benefits vary and are displayed at the time of sign-up. These benefits cannot be combined with other promotional offers unless explicitly stated.

6. Payment Terms

6.1 Minimum Payout: Commissions are paid out when your balance reaches a minimum of ₹2,000 INR (or equivalent in USD: $25).

6.2 Payment Schedule: Eligible commissions are paid monthly, within 15 business days after the end of each month, for commissions that have cleared the 30-day refund period.

6.3 Payment Methods: Commissions can be paid via bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS for India) or PayPal (for international affiliates). You are responsible for providing accurate payment information.

6.4 Taxes: You are solely responsible for any taxes applicable to your affiliate commissions. DeployU may require tax documentation (such as PAN, Form W-9, or W-8BEN) before processing payments.

7. Refunds and Chargebacks

If a referred user requests and receives a refund, or if a chargeback occurs, the corresponding commission will be deducted from your affiliate balance. If your balance is insufficient, the amount will be deducted from future commissions.

8. Promotional Guidelines

When promoting DeployU, you MUST:

Clearly disclose your affiliate relationship (e.g., "This is an affiliate link")
Provide honest and accurate information about DeployU's services
Comply with all applicable advertising laws and regulations, including FTC guidelines
Only use DeployU's approved marketing materials and branding assets

You MUST NOT:

Use spam, unsolicited bulk emails, or automated messaging systems
Make false, misleading, or exaggerated claims about DeployU
Bid on DeployU's brand terms or variations in paid search advertising
Use cookie stuffing, click fraud, or other deceptive practices
Create fake reviews or testimonials
Impersonate DeployU or claim to be an official representative
Promote DeployU on websites containing illegal, violent, discriminatory, or adult content
Self-refer or create accounts to generate commissions for yourself

9. Intellectual Property

DeployU grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use our approved logos, banners, and marketing materials solely for the purpose of promoting DeployU under this Affiliate Program. You may not modify these materials without prior written consent. All intellectual property rights remain with DeployU.

10. Termination

10.1 By You: You may terminate your participation in the Affiliate Program at any time by providing written notice to affiliates@deployu.ai.

10.2 By DeployU: We may terminate your participation immediately if you violate these Affiliate Terms. For other reasons, we will provide 14 days' notice.

10.3 Effect of Termination: Upon termination, you must immediately cease all promotional activities and remove all DeployU marketing materials. Pending commissions that have cleared the refund period will be paid according to the normal schedule. Commissions for referred users who have not yet completed the refund period are forfeited.

11. Fraud Prevention

DeployU actively monitors for fraudulent activity. If we detect or suspect fraud, we reserve the right to:

Withhold or reverse commissions
Terminate your affiliate account immediately
Take legal action to recover damages

Fraudulent activity includes but is not limited to: self-referrals, fake accounts, cookie stuffing, click fraud, using bots or automated systems, and misrepresenting DeployU's services.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE AFFILIATE PROGRAM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. DEPLOYU MAKES NO GUARANTEES REGARDING THE AMOUNT OF COMMISSIONS YOU MAY EARN OR THE CONTINUED AVAILABILITY OF THE PROGRAM.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEPLOYU'S TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THESE AFFILIATE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL COMMISSIONS PAID TO YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING ANY CLAIM. DEPLOYU SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

14. Modifications

DeployU reserves the right to modify these Affiliate Terms, commission rates, or any aspect of the Affiliate Program at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active affiliates at least 30 days in advance. Your continued participation after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

15. Governing Law

These Affiliate Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
